do people like slim not realise that riding fixed is not all about fashion and alot to do with simplicity and low-maintanence? ive ridden bikes for years and gears and brakes are the fucking bane of my life constantly breaking and needing fixed. im not saying i dont ride geared bikes and certainly wouldnt be without my brakes on for example my downhill bike. but its great to be able to take the fixed bike out, it never fuckin breaks, i have to change a tyre every now and again and i needent worry about untangling cables after double b's...
