  • It would be more rewarding to build your own wheel(s) however I have old wheels in my shed which you can use for practising - the choice is yours. If you build your own you will have to choose and buy the parts, although myself and the forum will guide you if you want. For starters you could use my spoke length calculator: http://lenni.me/edd/

    Dished wheels are a bit more complicated and I wouldn't recommend them for your first time. Besides, I don't have a dishing tool. Building 26" is the same as 700C wheels.
