okay l's and g's listen up....sam has plotted a great route but like all TNRC rides it has the odd technically difficult bits to negotiate. i'm talking narrow lanes, pot holes, grit, sharp bends which, of course, we will be tackling in the dark and, perhaps even more dangerously, at dusk. As the group is growing it seems like a good time just to remind everyone to take great care out there. Don't ride too close, point out obstacles if you can, keep your line, don't take needless risks or ride too fast. As these are basically 'club' rides we will always wait, as a rule, for anyone where there is a junction etc and a left / right decision to make. It is always essential however to have as much knowledge of the route and alternative transport arrangements i.e. where the fuck are the train stations as you possibly can. Beware of riding off the front if you do not know the route. come prepared i.e. tubes, lights etc
I will be collecting mobile numbers here but if you do not want to post it please pm me or make sure you have a couple of other riders numbers on the night.
The TNRC has brought together a group of friendly, mature and hard riders and apart from the odd puncture the rides have been noticeable for camaraderie, fun and glowing satisfaction. let's ride safe folks!
