eBay and Craigslist finds

Whats wrong with Maillard hubs? Have a couple of 24h high-flange in a box at my attic I was going to build up..

1. French threaded lock rings
   
2. Even when you do get the correct lock ring the hub threads aren't very wide, so you won't be able to screw the lock ring down fully on to something like a Dura Ace cog.
   
3. The track nuts are french threaded, and the nuts are harder to track down than the lock rings
