Android, BlackBerry OS 4.7, Symbian S60 5th edition and Windows Mobile all have both of these things! ;)
i'm not saying that iPhones aren't good (they quite obviously are), but they're not the be-all and end-all of mobile OSes. and i am an apple user, too.
Seriously though, Android is fucking good. I think the user experience is now as good as an iPhone and it doesn't force you to use iTunes, it's open to apps that Apple will block, and it's all built around the web (so syncing your data is seamless across any computer that has a browser on it).
Google is evil though.
