Most overrated - a thread about overrated things

Seriously though, if you're young then you should be listening to music that your parents hate and doing irresponsible things no?

I know it's a cliche to say this, and I know every new generation says it, but most music nowadays really is crap. There is some good new stuff out there but you really have to search for it. I never understood the whole it's-uncool-to-like-the-music-your-parents-like thing.
