This happened on my Fuji- went hill climbing with Charco, skid stop next day and a quarter of a rotation on the rear wheel before it engaged.
You just need to tighten the lock-ring down as has already been said.
Fuji don't seem to do them up that tight before they leave the factory, or the (useless complete chunk of shit) sprocket they fit really screws itself on/compresses after a bit of riding.
