Looks like a H+Son on the front... It's a 32 hole and the Planet X only come in 16 or 24 hole...

Read the post. He's had the P-X rims for 7 months. They might only have 16 and 24 NOW but 7 months ago they would've had 32h drillings.
Here's some 82mm 32h in use: http://www.on-one-shop.co.uk/?p=688

yeah, but its not as exciting as the parts. The guy insisted i stick with the frame from the bike he gave me to restore. Its being the bigest fucking pain in the ass as the BB fitting is a rare thompson style, and i just trashed the old bb trying to get it out (need square taper).
hopefully will be finished in the next week or so.

Took bike home to Norfolk this weekend, lovely cycling. Campag omega v's on it since last pics. Thanks to GIzmond for those. Bought some new bartape (just deciding on whether to keep the brake or get a little lever on it). Then a 18t on the back and possibly SPD's i've got kicking around.

Ah, is it the brake cable not going inside the bartape?
If so, then i've not had a chance to rewrap since purchasing, previous owner had the brake on the end of bars for quick removal at track. Just bought some new tape, but still deciding on brake set up.

Finished this on sunday. JRJ Path frame with Chater Lea, Airlite, Bayliss Wiley, Renolds & GB Ye Olde English bits. Wolber & jalco (stripped) rims, Belleri bars, Salmon muddies.
Wish Dave Crowe hadn't bothered putting the headtube crest on like I asked him not to, as it doesn't fit between the massive lugs.
Still, I love it.
All courtesy of Furious Tiles for the frame, Dave Crowe (colourtech) for great work (transfer notwithstanding), and to Dale, The Bonk, Keith Wileman in Emsworth (a CTC forum guy) & Madgett's in Diss for essential bits, and Keith at TdV for some help.
No Dale, it's not a fucking dawes.
doo-oo-oode. this is pure dead brill. and almost exactly what i had in mind for the witcomb frame i bought off scrapper last week. going to try and source all sorts of ye olde englishe bitse over the next few weeks. anyone with a set of 27" wheels, or just rims/hubs and some nice old cranks cluttering up the shed please feel free to give me a yell.
big props again. that is just stunning.

been looking at these pics again and you know what really makes it? it's the red cables.

beautiful skully... annoying that you have to take the mudguards off to take the wheel out though?

Perfect for a slow cruse arround HH. Dose the wife know yet?
Nope and she never will
Always wanted one of those- where did you get it from?
This is the slightly damaged one from Bike Magic. Couldn't just let it sit in the shop at that price!
Now with some wheels. Although terrible pictures

if you don't mind me asking what is that decal on the top tube that looks like a government health warning?
Something about it being completely hand built TIg welded triple-butted scandium. Whatever that means, God knows. But its very light and will hopefully be quick

so i started on the Falcon again today! i have had no money of recent, and so couldnt buy anything for it. my girlfriend decided that she wanted to buy me a present and so i picked up a lovely wheel...
i also stripped off the 30 year old grip tape from the bars! Gave me a bit of trouble but more than happy with how they are now!
just on the look out for a matching front wheel now. got a few im watching on the bay so fingers crossed! :)

Match the wheels, sort seat + bar angle and ditch that manky mudguard and you have one super lush bike there mate!! A nice Turbo/ chopped Brooks would look great on their too!! Beautiful!

^^What's with the seat angle?
