That's the other problem really - I only know them as '36 Yo Min'! At least I know what type noodle they are though...
Best way to describe them is that they're orangey yellow in colour, are quite 'dry' (as in not in sauce or gravy), but they're also quite greasy. Definitely not crispy though. When I have them plain, they're usually just made with shredded carrot and spring onion added, so it doesn't seem to be anything to do with the flavour of any meat.
I use a non-stick wok - which may have something to do with them not tasting the same?
