for something a little different could head into plymouth, has the advanage of being right in between devon and cornwall and houseing the plymouth gin distilery, if you like gin and gin based products...also, the distillery is right on the barbican in the old harbour where the fish market is...some of the best fish and chips you'll ever eat and a little pub called the dolphin hotel in which sells an exeptional pint of bass.
