Exactly, a lot of people make silly mistakes when setting up a fixed gear or riding one for that matter, all we can do is educate and hope they listen, rather than slamming them when they are actually trying to help portray cycling and indeed fixed gear cycling in a positive light.

For the amount of people I've seen criticising 'hipsters' there's a few people here that are quick to deride papa44..

I don't agree with what he's saying but there have been far worse things said by established forum members which haven't been met with the same amount of anger

Unfortunately he made it personal by slating an individual rather than a general group.
