Your using the french standard, which is basically mm, except it isn't standard, different companies have different ideas of what a 700c tyre is. Originally the letter denoted the width, so having a second number for width is a bit weird isn't it?
Also there isn't a french equivilent to 27inch wheels. So my original question wouldn't have worked so well...
if you play on your toes with 650A wheels how do you recommend I play with my 700B/C?! :-)
