maybe if we do the hebden ride we could watch this in that social club they have there or at ian's house, I have it...
A Boy, a Girl and a Bike (1949) Bike Right.
Diana Dors and Anthony Newly co-star.
Set around the hills of Hebden Bridge and focuses around a love triangle between a working class woman, a man from a local cycle club and a middle class motor fanatic who finds love and joys of cycling. A slim Diana Dors amusing bit when she stuffs her face in a tea-shop. Out of the rain on a ride the cyclists take a break for a smoke, ripping stuff. Jimmy Saville appears somewhere in the film as a cycling extra. -

Building 650c Mavic CPX 33s onto DMR Revolver (single speed of course) - gonna have to use disc brakes, so I got some Hope minis ready to go.
..yes, this is costing more arms and legs than I care to admit to myself.

Hands off - GerTie will return to her primary purpose: long weekends on country lanes, week long tours of Cornwall, Wales, Scotland etc. That's what she's meant for - she doesn't like city streets, and has been complaining recently.
Everyone needs a selection of bikes, no?
And oh, I was going to go for Durace, but the catalogue no longer lists a single chainset, so Miche are getting my money.
More photos as they occur.

zero - shimano still make single (ie track) chainsets in square taper and octalink... you will be looking at 42 (120mm) as opposed to 50 mm (135mm) chainline
miche is designed for 42mm chainline
