One brake Single-Speed fools

I** get the impression some people are going SFOB (SingleSpeedfrontBrakeonly) for 'the look'.**

*This is stupid* (its just my opinion, but I'll stand by it)

If you ride brakeless, without a helmet, and with 1" wide bars TBH I could'nt give a flying feck, as long as its been considered with regards to skill level, conditions, safety etc. I'm willing to bet there are loads of people on here riding safer than me, without the front caliper, pricey helmet etc.. I use. Simply because they are better riders, and know the limitations of themselves and their bike.

I dont care what set-up people ride, as long as they have considered it for the right reasons.

It is an opinion shared by many including myself, and its not elitism, its concern for the safety of others on the road, and if anything....pity, for I think some of these "new" cyclists don't realise just how much they are endangering themselves by riding with this set up.
