the police were no help whatsoever but i dont blame them, and yea the people that seemed to be causing most trouble were teenagers with their faces all covered up and a few other crazy anarchists, funny how the people causing the most trouble were teenage middle class kids?
funny that!

What an absolute crock of shit. That was a total embarrassment. I'm not happy with the state of things but there is not way that I can ever align myself with that unwashed bunch. There seemed to be no planning just dirty folk shouting burn the bankers to 600bpm gabba background music. The police were equally disjointed and STUPID. I saw them kick off separately on two females- *really tough stuff guys! *Everyone seemed to parody themselves. If this is tomorrows generation X, god help us.

Yea, funny mood about it. Was just up at cannon street by a blockade. People milling about, tourists taking photos of their friends doing thumbs up next to the riot police.. so much for bankers hanging from the lampposts.

I guess the 'real' anarchists are saving their shit for later. We'll wake up tomorrow morning to news that someone blew up a bank, and 1,000 people died after armed police decided gung-ho is the way to go.

I really shouldn't say stuff like that. I'm pretty sure Echelon has a big enough file on me already...

haha yea it was pretty boring...

Ah 'cmon, that's not fair. Isn't it enough that they're there saying they don't like how things are working at the moment? Plus things like music stop that stuff from getting fighty..
-

Yeah I'm just teasing... I'd rather they were there not knowing their political demands than at home not knowing their political demands and not giving a shit.

I was totally wrong: The Revolution will not be televised
It will be usurped by the omnibus edition of Eastenders.

To be honest I don't think it's even that complicated, it's the old "you guys with all the money and the power fucked up, give us little guys a go and we'll sort it".
The method of the sorting (policy) is the last thing on the lay-protester's mind, they just see something fucked and want it changed

whats the word i am seaching for ........apa...apa...apathetic, thats it the people were to apathetic to care!
-
• #574
Sighhh....there will never...EVER be any revolution!
Only disorganised, chaotic, moments of reaction...followed by the strongest group trying to take charge, followed by the sudden realisation that they don't actually know the first thing about how to achieve their 'dream'.Evolution...not revolution!

All true.
It's a shame fucking stuff up sounds so much more appealing than spending 4 hours a day reading Hansard.
