I loved this story about Voigt from the ToC last year or the year before. He's riding along chatting to another German rider (who wrote about it in his diary, I can't remember who it was now). Suddenly the hammer goes down and the bunch speeds up to something like 55-60kph. Voigt stops chatting, goes to the front and attacks. Later, he comes back and says to the other rider he'd been chatting to: 'Sorry about that, I just had to show these guys that you can still attack even if the bunch is doing 60.'
