Fixings: I have a feeling you might do well to buy all the other parts from him but not the actual steel wire, as the bends are pre-formed so the width might be too small for your guard (the salmons are only 22mm wide!) Then get straight steel wire and bend it where you want it yourself, presumably more like 30mm.

Time to get the funky woodstain colours going.
