Paki isn't a racial slur, I have a friend who is Pakistani and he uses it all the time and has no problem with it. Maybe that's just him though.

Sigh... some Pakistanis got jealous of the fact that black people had the word 'nigger'. So they decided they could use 'paki' like black people use the word 'nigger'.

I still find it offensive, and I'm definitely not the only one, given that the only time I hear it is when someone is trying to insult me.

I can't say for sure since I haven't met all Pakistanis who are OK with the word paki, but all the ones I know who are OK with it are the ones who haven't suffered at the hands of that word. I on the other had still see it rear it's ugly head on a regular basis.

Sorry I realise I've been talking about this for some time now, I'll shut up.
