I'm hoping O'Neill will go hell for leather for all competitions next season, no matter the size of the squad, and I've got a feeling, that failure to break into the champions league this season will be used as a reason to batten down the hatches and go on a revenge mission next season.

Well - I'm not sure he'll be up for the Intertoto next year.

But, yeah - I hope he's learnt from that one. Though to be generous - he may have seen in training that everyone was fucked and would have lost anyway.

Still - plenty of games to go and a nice easy run in. Man U away then into mid-table obscurity teams: Everton, Hammers, Bolton, Hull, Fulham, Boro & Newcastle.
