  • oooh, good buy.

  • got some bargains..

A-head adapter was £5, riser bars were £3 as was the stem. also some cheap tools.

just need some cranks and seat/post to complete.

  • Got this Bianchi a few weeks ago..

    Definitely going to replace:
-bars/stem.. Have seen some I really liked the look of in Tour de Ville (hand sewn leather bar tape)
-seat post.. Needed a longer one than the one it came with so got what's shown cheap as a stop-gap solution

    Might replace:
-brakes.. Currently universal super 68, not bad but I'm sure there's some nicer brakes that are still vintage
-wheelset.. Again, not bad but nothing special and I'm sure I could get something nicer and more vintage

  • and the saddle! :)

  • I take it you're the seller then pifko? :)

  • Haha, no. Although I have an abused and now broken Specialized saddle which hurts your arse after 5 miles if you want that?...

  • I'm good with my rolls thanks :P

  • Aye, I love them too. Just did 30-25 odd miles and my arse is still happy.

  • Have only been using it for a month or so (came with the bianchi) but I might just get one in white to colour match my other bike a bit..

  • it is 50mm. got it in halfords clearance bin for £3.

f*ck sake, it's 20 on chainreaction. oh well, might just get it anyway. bargains don't exist in ireland.

  • How the fuck I add photos of my bike I don't know... About to throw computer against the wall....

  • At long fucking last...

  • you could have used the edit button too to save some posts ;)

  • At long fucking last...

I hope you've cracked open that bottle of Leffe to celebrate ;)

  • Nice socks

Oh, you're gonna need a chain and pedals for that too

  • Wibble - deleted about 15 posts in my attempt to do something simple.

rhb - is now open and nearly consumed! Tesco's selling 3 little bottles for £3!!!

  • Pistanator - was thinking of linking socks together to make the chain, and cutting up the ex's furniture to complete the bike...

  • ...and don't forget brake blocks and lever angle.

  • I meant to post this earlier.

    nice saddle ;)

    Sweet :)

  • New project: Lo pro frame - takes 700cc front wheel, Changing forks to straight forks - gona head down to armourtex, get it either gloss white or a stupid fluro colour. Still considering other components.

  • I quite like those forks.

How are you gonna get chain tension? Will you get away with a halflink?

  • have you thought about putting track end on it and removed the braze-on before sending it to armourtex? Ted from FGL can do it for you for a small fees.

  • Hopefully - work it out like that. if not, then i will be buggered!

Didnt consider that - anyone know the rough price?

i was gona take braze ons myself before taking it down to em.
