Got this Bianchi a few weeks ago..
Definitely going to replace:
-bars/stem.. Have seen some I really liked the look of in Tour de Ville (hand sewn leather bar tape)
-seat post.. Needed a longer one than the one it came with so got what's shown cheap as a stop-gap solutionMight replace:
-brakes.. Currently universal super 68, not bad but I'm sure there's some nicer brakes that are still vintage
-wheelset.. Again, not bad but nothing special and I'm sure I could get something nicer and more vintage

New project: Lo pro frame - takes 700cc front wheel, Changing forks to straight forks - gona head down to armourtex, get it either gloss white or a stupid fluro colour. Still considering other components.
-
• #6873
I quite like those forks.
How are you gonna get chain tension? Will you get away with a halflink?
-
• #6874
have you thought about putting track end on it and removed the braze-on before sending it to armourtex? Ted from FGL can do it for you for a small fees.
-
• #6875
Hopefully - work it out like that. if not, then i will be buggered!
Didnt consider that - anyone know the rough price?
i was gona take braze ons myself before taking it down to em.
oooh, good buy.
