Stripped saddle - SLR/Selle?

in lieu of not being able to find a tioga spyder saddle at a decent price i'm looking to strip a saddle back to it's base moulding.

I own one of these, it's cracked in 2 places. This happened on the first and second rides. It now makes a clickety-click noise when you pedal hard. This is apparently a very common fault.

Go with a decent stripped road saddle or buy a Arione K:1

stripped my flite yesterday, happy with the result.
can't take piccie got hit by a car and smashed my phone.

Due to alcohol related failure I didn't photograph mine last night.
Picture tomorrow instead.

it is supposed to be a carbon base, but more of a plastic/carbon mix.

It's carbon alright, just that most people don't bother with the fancy carbon weaves if it's not going to be visible, it's more expensive to make don't you know ;)
