Bit of warning that the ride from Shoreham to hove isn't too pretty - fairly industrial past the power station, there's a little footbridge which takes you over the harbour and get's you nearer the sea
Once you get to Hove though with the beach huts and lawns at that time of the morning that should be really nice ride, if there's a cafe on the seafront in central brighton called buddies that should be open too
