there is a dilemma because my job means i can't give away my ideas (they're to be sold to paying clients), but i feel like people who follow me solely because of my job will think i'm an idiot if i only twitter about going to the pub or having a nice ride to work. it kinda sucks.
I have this all over the web. What I do I do well, but I can never disclose how I do it and my work are pretty against me even disclosing a vague idea of what I do in case it gives away a competitive advantage.
I understand it. But it's so frustrating to see so many "authorities" get it so wrong, and not being able to actually publish why and set them on the right path.
It's the paypacket + advancement of the company vs. advancement of the industry. The former wins, and there's nowt to be done about it until C-level people understand the benefits of working for a greater good and acting socially.
