Nagasawa frame on eBay saga and doubts

I was recommending someone I know to bid to £450 on that frame and go no higher.

But then when I saw 50/14's offer of £600 straight-out in the other thread I told them not to bother as it wouldn't go to completion anyway.

Tentative offer of £600 for the frame and fork, headset and bottom bracket. Need to see it, a bit worried about the rust.

The scratches, whilst bad do not merit a new paint job.
To get a professional job you would have to send it to Argos and pay over £100 and still not recreate that rare multi-colour sparkle finish.

I think this Tommaso has a perfectly legitamate right to be asking these questions here.
