I saw you...
Riding down the bottom of Bradford St., possibly just left OYB. Grey frame (nice), top tube protector.
My missus may have pointed at you with big eyes - as she becomes more aware of fixed gear riders...
G'day to you.... -

If you're talking to me, then that definitely wasn't me.
-
• #154
No - sorry Messenjah, that didn't read right did it.
I meant that as an opening statement..... -

Further to that though I've just seen a really nice blue Mercian locked to a tree outside of Wagamama's - blue rim rear/white rim front. Then i saw that nice looking grey viking with raw drops next to it.
Nice to have seen your ride... -

That's cool. I reckon I saw him coming out of the same "block" as me, but onto the Bradford St exit.
Would be cool to meet him, in a non-stalking way..... I thought Bradford Street was my domain ha, ha -

Saw the same bloke I see every once in a while this morning, riding what I think was a blue on-one, wearing a red top, possible rapha or swrve cap (black with white stripe). Passed me outside the library/art gallery/council buildings this morning at around 10am. All the people from the buildings were outside (probably on strike again!) so were blocking the way. I got off to walk but he must've found a way through and rode past me, then down Newhall street and off into the distance. I've seen him a few times, said hello right to his face once and he ignored me! Anyone on here?

Saw two bikes outside scruffy murphy's about 6.30 today - one blue cannondale and one black one (wasn't paying much attention but saw it was fixed).
-

It was mine... the other belongs to the geezer I'm riding from Paris to Hamsterjam with. It has no rear brake blocks, and buckled wheels, but somehow he still rides it :-S
-
• #165
Thought it was probably you due to the location. Is your friend riding that bike to amsterdam? And are you going fixed?
-
• #166
Yes he is (full service first though), and no, I'm going to put a freewheel and a back brake on.

Went on an insomniac night ride last night, spotted Aldo from critical mass and talked to him for a bit, then I saw a man on a blue claud butler conversion, raced after him to tell him about this site but just ended up spewing a load of garbled nonsense and scaring him a bit. His rear hubs were unusual, the nuts seemed to extend about an inch further than normal, it kinda looked like a cone with a sphere on the end, never seen those before.

Spotted some chap on a single speed with drops & raleigh team colours. Looked ace.
I actually happened to be filming myself skating and looking back at the video he is in the background! see attached 'stalker' photography.

Looks like Cannon Hill Park. Despite the lack of detail in the image I recognise the shape of that guy's face, and his bike looks famil... hold on a minute, you were filming yourself skating?!
