just so that you guys dont fall into the same mistakes, ive made some ends for my mallet out of these rubber things that go under the table legs to stop the legs scratching the floor.
Basically, even though they were the tightest fit ever, they still fall off after a few minutes of playing, and also rubber is grippy, you want your mallet head to slide accross the floor.
Anyway, what im saying is make sure the ends arent rubber, and have sliding ability.
