SF, you ever get sorted? I live in York. Bikeoutlet.co.uk are, as you'd imagine, a bike located outlet outside town. Stacked to the rafters with cheapo bikes and kids bikes. Oddly enough they also stocked the full range of Orange bikes when they first opened. A mate bought a Patriot off them and from what I remember he had no major problems.
We thought they'd open up for Christmas then close shortly afterwards but that was a couple of years back and they've been around ever since. I'm pretty sure they're kosher but I've never dealt with them personally. Try calling them if you're still waiting.
