    If I attended a party and someone attending the same party somehow ended up with my bike, I promise you, it would get very very very very nasty.

    Exceptions would be made for friends or trusted acquaintances; not strangers.

    Maybe I'm just weird, that I would be angry as hell if my bike was taken by a stranger.

    I totally agree with you, if someone stole my bike I would find out where they lived and break their legs!

    He was with the bike locked up outside a pub and was very sorry that it was stolen and gave it back straight away. There was no beef and it was just a very unfortunate incident. When someone lends you a bike to borrow you don't make them fill in a 10 part questionnaire on its origins and place of purchase do you?
