  • What you on about? Yours is totally different! I like your file menu... I can't be arsed tinkering with my desktop anymore, tho' maybe I should...

  • i use wd passports, a 250gb and a 320gb, i think it's 7200 rpm... had no problems except the 250 is just music, and full and crashes my serato but aside from that it's fine, but i do need to but another to copy everythign off so i can reformat it...

    dabs.co.uk is good

so it is, just that you aren't using the normal aqua :)

  • @teenslain, thanks buddy that worked :)

right, who knows a good easy to use free back-up application/program to use?
    just to save files etc.

  • bollox, fuckit!! it won't bloody mount now.......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

  • After you erased it are you sure you partitioned it as FAT32? Teenslain's method was the quick way to do the way I told you but I always like to give the details away so you can see how to partition it in different ways etc.

  • By the way, restart the mac. It may just be a problem in the partition table because the mac is confused as to why the same hardware (the drive) has a different table on it.

  • I use Unison for all my syncing / backups. Its free, and solid. Further, it allows 2-way syncing, so if you alter a copy in either place (be they local or remote) it will correctly sync both copies to the newer one. http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/

The binary for mac is here.
