I'm moving to London for 2 years and think I'll need to stay with family because rent appears too expensive for me

Any other hidden expenses {extra taxes etc} that I should know about?

Reading up on the net is useful but often confusing with conflicting information

There are loads of Americans on here who will be able to offer you advice having made the same move.
