People that don't make it out of central Amsterdam (Dam sq+red light district) are the equivalent of tourists who don't make it out of Liecester Sq n Covent Garden.
Having said that I happy for them to stay in these places as it means I can have a more enjoyable time exploring what both cities have to offer.
