+1 (now that I know this wasn't a joke...)

Back on thread - I just went for a run and it's mayhem out there - wankers going round corners at 50mph when you can see the ice, and the bloody council obviously has no interest in encouraging people to make more sustainable transport choices as the cycle lanes are still covered in ice, and the pavements haven't been gritted. I was running on major routes and was slipping around all over the place.

It really does annoy me that they've obviously assumed that nobody walks anymore and made no attempt whatsoever to clear the pavements - which in itself encourages even fewer people to walk or cycle.
ride your bike on the road or walk on the ice, like the people in the rest of the frozen continents. HTFU UK!!
