A mate of mine's (now ex) girflriend wrote a similar piece in our student magazine when they broke up.. Regardless of who did something wrong in the relationship, it's just spiteful in the extreme to make such details public..
The only purpose it seems to serve is to hurt the non-writing partner and involve mutual friends.. Moral high-ground fail
