As the snow is about 10cm deep out here I went into work on my MTB.
20 miles, mostly off road.
Heaven!
Crisp new snow, and pedaling along in a 50m bubble of grey.
No sound but the crunch of the tyres and me puffing.
last 2 miles were slush and shite, but Im off home now and its even deeper and snowing harder.
I wonder if i'll make it, or if I'll be found when the thaw comes huddled over friction heated brake blocks?
