Which winter shoes / boots are people using?

Same as I wear the rest of the time just with warmer socks, HTFU bwoy.

A pair of well-abused DVS, with water drainage holes in most corners. Teamed up with Shimano PD-MX30's for what you forum types refer to as "the win".

if it got leather, and wrap around well, it'll be warm enough for winter (add a merino wool sock, and you´re sorted).

trainers for a 10 min ride to the shops maybe but for a normal 3hr 60 mile road ride the windchill gives you seriously cold feet and thicker socks just restrict your circulation. why do you think people use overshoes/winter boots? it's not for the aesthetics is it.

A friend of mine is wearing the Sidi winter boots right now and says they are great. A bit expensive though.....
