Vintage Peugeot conversion help and tips please

I'm sorry to hijack this thread and probably repeat another:

Will most old road bike frames convert to fixed/ SS? - I've been told that forward facing dropouts won't work, but have seen pictures of them fixed. Will a chaintug fit on any frame? Would it be easier just to get a frame with rear facing dropouts?

Of course, not a problem. You may just need to space out the axle to fit into the road spaced dropouts on the bike and find the right size BB to get to achieve a good chainline.
