Not to detract from the BLB thread, because they're great too, but I hear far too little about Cavendish Cycles, and they really deserve a little more fame. They always seem to be the nearest bike shop when something goes wrong on the Condor (once or twice a week), and the chaps who work there are very sympathetic to frantic and mechanically inept couriers rushing in, knocking over their displays, and demanding that they fix some complicated problem within minutes. Once they even lent me a courtesy bike, so that I could complete the four jobs I had on board while they rescrewed my BB. And, a few years ago, when I had just started commuting in a slightly wobbly fashion, it was they who patiently showed me how to pump up my tyres, and managed to keep a collective straight face whilst doing so.
And they have loads of really gorgeous frames, and it looks like they're undergoing a bit of a makeover at the moment. Perhaps I have a little bit of a bike shop crush...
