I had a day off today, so finally popped into my local bike shop, Compton Cycles. Good stock, and polite, friendly service. The owner chatted to me, and was recommending Witcomb's new cycle designs, as being worth a look. Very decent of him. Comptons sell several FG/SS bikes - Alf Webbs, 3 versions of the Giant Bowery, 2-3 Charge versions, Genesis Flyers, and will soon stock Gary Fisher Triton too.
The shop does specialise in Bromptons, but have a good range of most things.
They have a good selection of bags as well. 1 in particular was excellent.
