It's a great photo, for me it's the variety of facial expressions and the angles at which people are composed that does it for me. The only slight flaws I think are that Gus and a couple of others are partially obscured and, perhaps, although I quite like the asymmetrical composition, that you don't see the other rider on the right, although of course it's clear that they're there.
Is this the first time that there have been a lot of spectator shots? From previous times, I mainly remember the shots of competitors taken by Caspar and Winston.
