Big Ted's from Herefordshire, my first out-of-towner's chop job, a B17N.. It was a bit sagged but some patient 'blocking out' has transformed it back to the original profile very nicely. Chop and tie, and minimal nose trim, a couple of letters on there, and also I've tried to seal up a couple of small splits around the holes on the top with beeswax, to try and prevent moisture from worsening them. I decided not to trim the back end, as it looked rather nice as you see it, don't think Ed minded one way or another. In the post to you shortly Ed.
I am happy to try and reshape the top of saddles for a small fee, if anyone's got a sagged old 'hammocked' one that need some love. No extra charge if you're getting me to chop it too, it just takes a couple of extra days.
