My Track Champ is awesome, although not an all-day cruiser if you know what i mean? It zipps me around very nicely and picks up nicely when you put you foot down, but with a pack/bag on, and a lock tucked into belt/bag, it can be a pretty rough. Without any kit and just flying about, its a real pleasure to ride.

i've got a pre cursa and i love it, guess it may be a bit stiff but i prefer the way it rides to my other steel bikes, feels very solid. regularly do the 10 miles commute to work and have done a few big rides on it and it's perfectly comfortable.

Broken I have also Pm'd you about the frame.

I think I just saw one locked outside st martin, full on proper track component too and no brake.

You all gonna hate me if I buy a track champion and build it up with risers? :)

I've got a Track Champ. Been riding it on the roads for a couple of years. It's great.

It is stiff, but you get used to it. Would recommend one.

need a new frame as old one was bent by a car.. was wondering what the reputation of the dolan precursa is? i know its a alum. will it be strong enough for hard riding and tricks?

If you want brake drilling and bottle bosses the FXE has the same geom, so you've got the choice.

Just built one of these up last week. It makes a really nice road fixed which surprised me. The handling/steering is excellent and the higher BB seems to make no difference.
I have changed from a Steamroller to this and it is almost like going from a touring bike to a racing bike.

The comfort was also a surprise as I can't really notice any difference between the two frames (maybe the carbon fork helps?) but was expecting the much talked about harsh aluminium ride which really doesn't exist.

The only disappointment was the weight as I was hoping for a 6.8kg build just for the sake of it!
The bike weights up at 7.2KG without any super light parts (frame 1800g and fork 600g, I was hoping for under 1800g as steel frames can be around that)
Could also do with less decals but they don't come off as although they are not clear coated they leave an impression in the paint (or seem to)

Very happy with it and it exceeded my expectations. Guess it won't be many peoples cup of tea on here with it's modern looks and Dolan text everywhere but if you want a fast, responsive (sprinting and uphill) yet still comfortable frame then it beats my experience of steel.

RE the decals:
The latest shipment of Dolans has come from the manufacturer to them without any decals on, so if you're ordering you could probably request to have it without (or with fewer)

im tempted to buy one of these as im in the last legs of my volume build
but aluminium frame and alu forks will probably be a hurrendous ride
