Try doing reps on a steep hill fixed in a low gear. Concentrate on the downhill effort of spinning. You will learn a smooth pedalling motion. Remember you will need a cadence in excess of 200 and so 50 inches at 35 mph should help.
Also a hill that takes 30 seconds to descend.
