We had a section last year (still sounds wrong saying that) where we were banging along at 22-23mph in a massive train with loads of geared riders. Completely screwed me up until we got to the feed station at half way. Left later than the majority of other forum members, but arrived on the beach third (by a wheel). This excludes Roberto who was suited up for a track session and went on his own.
Decent navigation FTW!
BTW I can highly recommend the ride back to Ipswich. It's as flat as a pancake....
