Fuck what the haters say, Adelaide is awesome. Less dog and pony show than Melbourne and Sydney, easier to ride in (less pesky trams and hills!), a burgeoning tight knit fixed scene, couple of free Velodromes, amazing beer, awesome pubs, no seedy gangland / Underbelly past (yet) and nice beaches.
I've lived in Adelaide 29 years, been to Melbourne god knows how many times, (skating, playing in bands, riding bikes) and it's fine, but not that amazing. Sure Melbourne is "cooler", but Adelaide has it's charm.
Plus Dougie, me and Mandy are here, and I have a nice connection to get you a track frame... what does Melbourne have? Coffee and hipsters!
