"HMMM it looks as if this blog was posted a few hours ago, after I started this thread, now all of a sudden 14&co are sponsoring your euro trip.
Coincidence, I think not.
I am wondering whether I should I go into detail about 14's thoughts on FGLDN, which were of a mocking nature before they came crawling to you lot.
Well maybe not, I will just have a giggle to myself regarding some of the comments your pals over at 14&co said about your bikes.
However Andy you guys are cool with me, you have helped me out on quite a few things and I do appreciate it, please witness that I can give respect where it is due.
As for you forum bum's looking for a rise this thread is over your heads, over your heads."How did I do?
Not bad, but it still don't make any sense.

Can't believe I missed this thread. Over here, business men, take my money! Room for one more on the bandwagon?

I think everyone should wait to hear what this company is really about rather than listen to an aggrieved individual who appears to be setting themselves up as a competitor.

14 Bike Co are a new company who make bicycles. The person who makes them is Lee Cooper-look at Mr Smith's list of independent framemakers before you ridicule me.
They sent a couple of prototypes to TFG and were taking custom orders for a first batch just to get feedback etc. BUT they took too long to get anything sorted out. That is why a lot of people abandoned it and mr.langster's friends are disappointed. It is also why I didn't stick around and order one. (duncan bannatyne-"im ouut")
Furthermore the first batch which was sent for public approval was rushed out of the factory so the finish wasn't immaculate. The lugged and lugless models looked a bit rushed and they didn't have decals etc. The dropouts are the same ones which are used on BJ's which are laser cut to Lee Cooper's design but they didn't look very good.
All I was trying to say was that the bikes were not that bad and the people behind 14 Bike Co aren't money grabbing assholes, they just took a bit long to get anything sorted.
Mr.Langster wanted to let everyone know that 14 Bike Co are doing a launch type thing, but he is rubbing shit all over it as it clearly competes with his new "official" bike.
Why doesn't LFGSS know more about this though? They want to involve themselves in the scene? LFGSS is the scene.
I'm not even joking. Without this place it's just peoples on bikes.

They haven't started trading yet, nor do they have any complete bikes, just those prototypes which Miles posted.
Harry Major was pretty spot on about the price and although the pictures wont be copy/pasted into the porn section, for that price I don't think you can complain.
I'm sure that as soon as they are ready, the owners will make their intros on here and show us some complete bikes. Also the-14 bikes a month/week/whatever sounds like a tale by geoffrey chaucer -

Surely It Would Have to be in outer space to reach a great enough hieght? -

When I was in the shop an enquired about them the frames were just over £400 and the built bikes were more like £750 I believe. But maybe I was informed wrongly.
And having a flat hardly makes the frame a piece of shit does it now? Just makes the tyre flat.
But I might be confused. This thread is over my head. Afterall its much more complex then all other threads. Because its got, ummmmmmm. Sorry, what does it have that makes it more high brow then any other thread?
There is definitely not enough people using the phrase, 'high brow'. Thanks for making my day.

The droghte of Bianchi hath perced to the roote,
And bathed every velocity in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the chainline;
Whan Fixidus eek with his swete breeth
Inspired rapha in every holt and heeth
The tendre campagnolo, and the yonge sonne
Hath in the shim his halfe cours inverse,
And smale fowles maken 3renshu,
That slepen al the night with open 14,
So priketh hem nature in hir colnago:
Than longen folk to goon on pistas,
And hipsters for to seken straunge strondes,
To herne hille,couthe in sondry londes;
And specially, from every pistonator's ende
Of Engelond, to Shoreditch they wende,
The holy blisful langster for to seke,
That hem hath holpen, whan that they were seke.
