It does look a bit dodgy, Feedback doesn't tend to lie.

tonight i saw my friends bike locked outside the mercantile in dublin, it's a yellow and grey mbk frame with a matching saddle. it was stolen from trinity college but when i saw it it had been converted to fixie. it was brakeless with unchopped riser bars with no grips and a 42 sugino messenger chainset ( i think), the tyes were matching yellow too. if you have it please pm me, it has serious sentimental value, i should have stayed with it, but the police woudln't do anything til the person who owned it identified it, please give it back.... PLEASE!!!

This morning I saw:
Standard Surly steamroller
Cannondale Bad boy
A very old Hitchins!
A light blue raleigh conversion
AND an amazing santa cruz trials bike. The guy wanted £280! The frame alone was worth £400. I would be truely gutted if I had lost that it was beautiful. If I had the money I would have brought it and try to find the victim. But alas I am poor. -

Yes mine was stolen a couple of days before outside the Golden Hart! Nice spot ta, now how do I get that back? If anyone else viewed this can they confirm whether or not it had SPD's?

Anyone missing a Plug racer?
http://www.gumtree.com/london/23/32520423.html
The one in the advert was the one which was at the bike show!
Thanks for spotting that Batesy, I searched for Charge Plug and obviously ended up with plenty of phone chargers!

Some bastards stole my 1951 Rudge bike from inside my studio in Angel today. It's quite distinct, only had it about a month, too. I've attached some pictures, if anyone sees it, or anyone riding it, give me a shout, and throw a brick at them…

man that sucks - I know you posted your concerns previously about the security in your building. I am not sure where you stand on this legally but I would have thought your landlord/building management co are culpable to a degree - particularly as residents have raised security concerns.
Do you have a residents committee you can go to? I have seen underground parking lots with seperate cages or rooms for bikes - see if you can get them to install something similar.

he did, but there's only so much bike he could put in the flat, so some of them have to be in the garage to make room.

Fair enough I just thought with prior warnings 'you' would do anything to prevent it from happening to one of 'your' bikes. It's all in hindsight anyway as this guy has lost his bike. Good luck in the morning.

thanks for the support lads
no joy this sunday
will be back down next week and keep an eye on gumtree /ebay all week
next steps are leaflets through residents doors telling them to be careful,
guarantee it would be a different story with most residents and i dare say the police if it was cars being broken in to.
got my crime ref no. so insurers in the morning
ps girlfreind has taken pity and allowing my raleigh fixed and my dirt jumper ( when i get a replacement) to stay in the flat -

as long you locked it properly, in the right place/area, and at a reasonable length of time, it won't happen.
