ive been riding with bullhorns for over 5 months now. i only use the horns whilst climbing (where i think they are brilliant), or for getting low when windy. The only other advantage is trackstanding, i find it easier on the horns, though i always use the flats because im switicng to risers and want to be used to trackstanding without horns.
disadvantages to horns (actually just horns with sloping flats) is that there isn't actually anywhere thats really comfortable for a long period of time. this is fine for me because im constantly changing hand position. TBH im looking forward to the switch back to risers when i will be able to have one comfortable posistion. I will only miss the horns on long climbs!
