Have you even use riser on your fixed wheel bicycles? For an 11 miles journery it's not exactly a great idea, but for bombing about in London, it's the most fun, at least in my opinion.

I have tried drop, bullhorn, moustache, etc. But nothing beat a nice rise bar, not even an moustache bar.

I use a flat bar, dead straight bar (nitto courier) and ride up to 40 miles so the lack of hand positions doesn't bother me.
I usually switch to a drop in the Spring as they are faster, but I prefer the control of the straight bar in the winter/when going off road.
