Can the search be made any better or can you tell me how to use it?!

My problem is that if I search for something and the search term is found in a really long thread, I then have to trawl through the whole thread to find it. Can the search results show whereabouts (page number) in the thread the search term was found?

Or does it do this already and I don't know how to use it?

Ditto.. Is there a way I could search for a specific user's posts in a thread without having to go through each page?
