  • my company has introduced cycle to work scheme, with no limit on the spend!
so I'm gonna stray back into the land of road bikes and get myself a colnago master x light, but what colour should i get? :-

  • If it was me, I'd for the Saronni colours (the bottom one).

  • Thats like commuting in an aston

  • I think the blue looks delicious

  • Pink with purple and green dots on the main triangle. Chrome with pink pinstripes on the forks and stays.

What colour do you think I should paint my bathroom?

  • red. and get the track version with steel forks

  • I like the blue.

  • it'll not do the commute unless its bone dry and sunny, and theres no traffic! I've plently of dirty bikes for that kinda work. I dont think my employer will be bothered to check up on which bike i ride to work on.

Fruitbat, your bathroom should be any colour you like as long as its white. Or maybe yellow, so when you piss n miss it wont show ;o)

  • You have unlimited spend and you choose a Master X-Lite? That's just crazy, get something good like this... 5k. Job done!

  • I feel it would be unbecoming for a gentleman of my advanced years to be seen on such a machine dovoneil.....and it would still take £2500 outta my pocket!

  • Repeat after me:
    Colnago's are ugly.

  • this is the sort of bike I would love to tackle the Pryeenes.

not simply to get to and from work.

Do what my dad did, buy yourself a fairly cheap Genesis and used that as a work bike, and keep the Colnago for proper ride, job done.

  • About to order another ride, but which colour?
    Classic, Batman or Bling?

  • i love the blue

  • Repeat after me:
    Colnago's are ugly.

    +half

Anything that's been painted is a dogs dinner, the naked carbon ones are pretty tasty though.

LOL, kipsy has been riding since before you were born!

    Kipsy - get the blue.

But this ones got flowers on.
(I love this bike BTW, thats just the way it is)

  • Red is faster

  • the orange and blue has a real merckx holdsworth assured feel about it. one expects a colnago to be in the red or blue livery though. pick the colour that best matches your favourite cycling shoes

  • You can walk away with an Independent Fabrication and you want one of those? ^^

A Merican even, or something really really nice from Tour De Ville.
